Project Engineer (P.E.)

Responsibilities
• Lead a growing team of engineering resources in delivering approved truss drawings
• Monitor progress of projects to ensure customer commitments are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Recommend, implement and maintain engineering processes, standards and measurement systems. Such standards need to incorporate industry standards and guidelines.
• Effectively communicate policies and standards to all other Keymark employees.
• Coordinating engineering activities with project architects, engineers and general contractors.
• Perform engineering software testing for enhancements in the software.
• Lead improvement projects to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost.


Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Five plus years experience in wood truss design for commercial & residential structures.
• WTCA Level III certified.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado with ability to create an NCEES record.
• Ability to schedule and monitor multiple projects.
• Demonstrated skills in effective written and verbal communication, organization analysis and problem solving.
• Experience leading improvement projects.
• Experience in working with outsourced design/engineering.
• Coordinate offshore resources providing design & engineering services.
